Honey treatment for your skin

In addition to the well known benefits of using a natural honey mask, I present an active cosmetic derivative from honey, which is 'honey powder' or powdered honey.
Powdered honey is in fact dehydrated honey, stabilized with maltodextrin to avoid forming lumps.
Powdered honey is an ingredient used in making soaps, facial masks, exfoliates, bath salts, body lotions, bath bombs, etc. As an idea, you can use powdered honey to sweeten that homemade lip gloss or lip balm.
As a natural moisturizer, the honey keeps the moisture of the skin being an essential ingredient in hydrating skin products. The honey has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties, and ideal ingredient for mix skin, sensitive skin and acne skin.

Here are some ideas to use powdered honey for homemade skin care:

Add 1/2 cup of powdered honey in the bath tub for a bath that will leave your skin smooth!

Create a speedy facial cleanser using by mixing powdered honey with chamomile floral water  or any floral water suitable for your skin type, the consistency should be a paste like a facial mask. Apply this paste on your face and massage well, rinse and apply a toner and moisturizer as you would normally do. Keep any leftover paste in the fridge for maximum 3 days.
Prepare powdered honey for your body as well. This is actually a light powder that will leave your skin really smooth and shiny. Mix 1 cup of corn starch with 1/4 cup powdered honey and 1 tbsp vanilla powder. Add all ingredients in a blender and mix for 30 seconds. Keep the powder in a sealed container, because powdered honey will draw in humidity. Apply on the skin with a powder brush when you want a glamorous look, but natural.
